non-Ebody leaf spring question
« on: August 26, 2009 - 02:13:49 AM »
This came off the rear leaf spring on my 2002 F150.  How important is this clamp to the leaf spring?  Will it cause it to come apart if it's not replaced?

picture#1 = broken clamp
picture#2 = the other side that hasn't broken yet.

I would replace it , the clamp keeps the springs togther & will resist breaking the spring
