TV ALERT !!! ORIGINAL VANISHING POINT MOVIE IS ON TV TONIGHT

I wanted to let everyone who is interested that the movie  VANISHING POINT is going to be on TV tonight. it will be  on CINEMAX at 1130 P.M. west coast time and 230 A.M. east coast time. I live in Nevada and will be taping it at 1130 P.M. This is good since it will be commercial free

Thanks for the heads up...       I was lucky enough to have a chance to buy an unopened video of that movie from a member here a couple of years ago.  I have watched it several times.  A true Mopar classic.....

I have my own personal DVD too, already converted to fit on my phone. If you have one of these, did you know that you can watch the European released version? He smokes some doobie with, then has sex with a girl(death) the night before the crash. You also see the little boxes that trigger the red lights that show his position on the Highway Patrol's map.

I have seen it several times on FMC (Fox Movie Channel). It goes in cycles as most cable/satellite channels do at times. They wear a movie out and then it goes away for a while. Good thing about FMC is that it is uncut and commercial free.

Yes, My DVD has both sides with charlott rampling and the doobie. I also heve the 1996 remake as well. last nights movie was the USA version and i taped it on my VCR so i  have both video tape & DVD.

I just bought this movie the other day. Great movie, but I haven't watched the UK version yet.

I have it on bluray and dvd. We caught the last half hour of the remake this weekend. The original is so much better in every way. Even my wife agreed and wanted to watch the original again after we finished the remake.

I found mine at Best Buy. I tried to get the original Gone in 60 seconds but they didn't have that one.
