Small Block Water Pump Selection

Will I run into cooling problems if I go with a cheap water pump for my 340? I have seen prices range from $26 to over $55. Also, is there any advantage to a 8 blade over a 6 blade impelller?

If I see a mechanical part made in China, or with a bearing that is made in China, I look elsewhere; cheap isn't worth the risk.

Milodon High volume aluminum , if you have cooling problems, and their thermostat. Plus the most rows or largest tubes to handle the extra flow. Or a smaller crank pulley to compensate for drag racing.
