New wheel pics!
« on: May 23, 2009 - 08:04:08 PM »
What do you guys think of my American Racing torqlites? I have a ? though. My car has been having a problem lately it misses around 3500 RPM while in park. If you get on it while moving it runs decent. I tried changing plugs, wires, cap, rotor, different distributor, new fuel filter all of this didn't change anything. I added treatment to remove the water last night and this mourning it ran a lot better than it had been. Ran good all day till I can back on the way home it started doing it again. I put more gas in it but it was from a different pump. What else can I check. I noticed a little gas leakin from the base of the carb could this cause it? What else should I check. It's soooo aggravating. Thanks alot!

The back rims are 18x8 with 4.5 backspace and the back tires are 255/45/18s. The front wheels are 18x7 with 235/40(maybe 35...)/18 tires. I think I'm going to put a new carb gasket on.

What shifter handle are you using 73Challenger_TN? I am thinking of changing my T-Handle in my '73 Challenger over here in Murfreesboro.

The shifter is a gunslinger. It worked great for awhile but last time I drove the car it wouldn't let me pull down into 1st gear. Took the shifter off and it would. I might just had the rubber bushing to far down But, haven't looked at it again. If I was going to do it again I would buy the other brand that doesn't have the trigger.
