Most come with them. But even if not, you have an insurance company that will usually ask you how many miles you drive a yr and what the mileage is on it.

Check with your insurance company and state DMV.  We can give you all the opinions in the world, but that will be the only way you are going to for sure get the correct answer.  I know that in Texas the fill in the mileage when you get the car inspected, and then you have to sign as to whether it is the actual mileage or not.  However, if you license it with Antique plates, then you don't need an inspection, but insurance might still require a mileage statement.

I live in Texas so I guess I'll go to DPS and ask. Thanks.

Are you NOT going to have a Speedometer?.....Every Speedometer I have ever seen included an Odometer.

:iagree: What gauge do you have that doesn't have a odometer.

Otherwise, keep a Garmin in the car and NEVER reset it  :roflsmiley:

FWIW....JC Taylor doesnt ask for mileage at all when you get their antique insurance.

The state of PA doesnt care about mileage or odo readings on antique plated cars either....regular plates though they do.

OK I didn't think about that, but the other question now is what about the miles on the original speedo? Obviously the new gauge would be set on zero.
