Axle Shaft End Play / I don't get it........

I've scratched my head raw and I hate to say it, but I can't figure out how or where to adjust for end play. I feel like an idiot asking, but I can't figure it out. The instructions I have don't give me a real clear picture of the '' ADJUSTER '' or the '' LOCK ''.
 Can you guys post a few pictures to help the challenged guy to get it?

I do not have the Green bearings....

on the right side you will see some tabs kind of like a crown sticking up behind the axle flange at the center of the plate that retains the axle , on one of the bolts there is a tab that hooks over into the crown , remove the bolt that the lock tab is held by & the crown will rotate , you may have to tap it with a punch to rotate it

I have my axle out waiting for an axle seal (I think it's being shipped by dog sled) so I thought I'd take a pic for you. The adjuster is the part between the flange and the bearing that looks like a huge crown nut.

  There's the missing link!
I've got 2, 8 3/4 rear ends and NEITHER of them had the locker that you showed in the picture. Now I understand!
All I have to do now is find the lock!!!

Luckily, that locking pawl is still readily available at a lot of vendors pretty cheap.  The adjuster isn't.  I'm pretty sure Mancini sells that, but so do a dozen other Mopar vendors.

I found mine on    .....! I have seen several from many Mopar Parts vendors. Every now and then an original up for auction.
