the center roof brace has as small tab with 2 slots that the screws go into to hold the dome light in place

Turn the dimmer switch for the dash lights fully counter-clockwise. The dome light should come on.

Is the housing anodised?  It looks like it is.  Is there a way to bring back some shine on an anodised part?  I know trying to polish it will only make it dull.
