They should be back soon guys...we're working on it as I type this.  We're even gonna have a tab to a page where every sponsers banner will be placed for easy quick access.

It is up now and is called "Sponser Sites".....no matter where else their banner might be it will be here for quick reference.

What about Nicks parts?  great supplies for the west side of the USA? I just always used Roseville as they were closer for shipping purposes.

Some interesting discoveries I researched & found:

Cuda Challenger.com & Dodge Charger.com:
Administrator: 69ChargerR/T

Advertisers on Cuda Challenger.com
Year One
Eastwood
Julius
Nicks
Roseville

Advertisers with banners on Dodge Charger.com
0

Members on Cuda Challenger.com (as of today 6/25/10) 8005
Members on Dodge Charger.com (as of today 6/25/10) 8003

Total page views on Cuda Challenger.com

Total page views on Dodge Charger.com

Activity:
Average topics per day on Cuda Challenger.com 21.76
Average topics per day on Dodge Charger.com 37.91

Most online on Cuda Challenger.com    290 - July 19, 2008, 08:14:06 PM
Most online on Dodge Charger.com      528 - June 27, 2007, 01:49:53 PM

Average page views per day: Cuda Challenger.com 17829.35
Average page views per day: Dodge Charger.com 29740.23

So why is this forum advertising but Dodge Charger.com isn't?
Apparently, users on DC.com look at posts longer than here.

Just thought I'd bring this to light.

Well, you also have to remember that DC.com "started over" in 2006 so those historical numbers aren't quite accurate (we had well over 11,000 members prior to the big crash).

I'd have to update my numbers but DC.com also costs about 4-5 times as much per month as this site since it sits on a dedicated server ($150 per month). Much like this site, it is primarily supported by one person (me). It does get to be overwhelming! Due to the "issues" with the previous owner I felt that there was a period of time where trust would be hard to gain. I did not want to sell anything or fill the site up with ads only to be accused of taking advantage of the situation. The reality is that I've sunk well over $10k into DC.com and I know Ross has been bleeding money here for a while. It's nice to think the community would chip in and help out but the reality is that it never happens. Sure, you get the odd donation but that's nothing you can budget (we can't even cover the cost of the tents at Carlisle and Monster Mopar). A subscription based site is too restrictive in my opinion so what are you left with? In all likelihood DC.com will be supported by advertising in the near future. I just have to find some that don't expect preferential treatment...

I like the way things are done here with the sponsors. If you don`t need them, their banners don`t interfere with posts made ,and if you need them, they`re one click away.  Thanks troy & ross ,for keeping these sites open to all carnuts,  and good luck finding sponsors for DC.com

I was actually a member of D-C before I was a member here. (go figure?!) Anyway, being in business and knowing what things cost its surprising that there are no ads over there. (yet)
Its all good, no complaints from BIGS

There used to be a way to kick in some $$ for this site. Maybe I missed the link or something, but I'm ready give more $$.
