Hey in all fairness I think 13 of them had more to do with a limp rod than tightning a loose screw. :lol:

If all else fails let me know, I bought a grab bag of stuff from the engineers (brooks) and it came w/the mirror mount and post, I dont need it mine is mint, they need polishing real bad but the retainer plate on the back side of the mount looks real good.If you want to try a different retainer plate just let me know and there yours.

Was a 74 Plymouth Scamp 2 door 318 car., it was Bazooka Joe though!

Wanted to update my progress,  thanks to the generous offer from Farmertan.  I was able to put it back together.
I ended up painting it gun-metal grey.  It actually looks better than the pics.  You don't even notice it's there, just blends in with the black headliner and visors.

Thanks again for sending me the mirror base parts.   :2thumbs:
