    removal of park switch from torqueflight transmission

    how does the wiring connector come off the transmission switch and will I lose fliud when the old switch comes out?

    the wire connector has a cup to it , but it just pops right off. And yes, if you unscrew the switch its self, it will leek fluid, not a lot, but enough to where you need a drain pan handy

    It will lose a quart or two if the trans is cold and it hasn't been run. Possibly a lot more depending on the drainback of your valve body.

    Jacking up the drivers side of the car sp the fluid runs away from the plug area will help
