Anyone use those 'custom decal kits" for model cars?
« on: September 26, 2009 - 11:03:50 PM »
I'd like to be able to make some custom decals for the cars that I build but I don't want to waste the money on that kit if it sucks. Anyone use it?

Just the regular Revell kits, like you buy at Hobby Lobby. I'd like to build a chally that looks like the how I'm going to build mine, but I can't do that with the decals that come with the kit.

Are you talking about this kit?  I've never used it but I would imagine it's as good as the printer you print out on.

I've never made custom decals but depending on the type of decal you are going to make, if you are going to make simple stripes, you can cut out designs from model car stripe tape.  YOu might be able to find it at hobby stores.  :dunno:
