Rallye dash clock

My restored clock was working fine.Now nothing.The reset does not work.Any ideas before I tear the dash apart. Thanks

Check to make sure the power lead didn't come off?

You can actually get your hand up under there to feel if the connector is pushed onto the back of the clock. You don't state what year gauges we are talking about, but if it's 70-71, then maybe the plastic outer of the clock reset cable cracked. That can cause you not to be able to reset, and if it's partially pushed in, it can leave the gears spinning but never moving the hands.
