just saw something sad
« on: October 04, 2009 - 06:07:54 PM »
went and looked at a 68 cuda drag car for sale locally ive been searching for a fastback for years.  And wow talk about shelled out and of course no title they removed everything the underbracing under the hood hell it didnt even have door latches, no window regulators nothing.  Too bad too the car seemed like a good solid car to but it would take a long time to get it safe enough for me to run down the 1/4 mile.  Its sad what some people do to these cars he said he wanted 7500 for everything as it sits with the built big black if it were just in a lil better shape.  It didnt even have window glass the tin work on the mini tub was done with galvanized sheet metal and wood screws.  I told him if he wants to part it out i want his disc brakes and fenderwell headers for my bb dart swap.  He said i'll be calling u soon.

Sorry to hear about that.  some guys dont know how to modify a car and not ruin it.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

There was a stripped '69 Barracuda shell sitting up on wood piles (I think?). Anyways, the guy wanted $500 for it. Don't know what happened to it, never checked on it again.
