whats the deal with the uploader?
« on: October 03, 2009 - 04:29:02 PM »
How come some people seem to have no problem loading pics but others like myself only get some stupid uploader is full message when they go to load a photo? Is this going to be a permanent thing or just a temporary glitch?

It's temporary but a pain sometimes.  Alot of people are using photobucket or some other photo hosting site and linking the photo's to their posts.     :2thumbs:

I guess if that is the only way to post pics then I will do it. I have just gotten used to resizing and posting pics straight from my computer. Change sometimes sucks but is also somtimes necessary.

you guys fill it up too quickly.  i clear out a good chunk about once a week.  the more its used, the sooner old photos have to be removed.

would it be possible to have an automatic link to photobucket whenever a topic is posted that carries the word "uploader" in the title?   bullit would get some sleep again...

May be possible BUT PHOTOBUCKET is SO EASY.... EVEN A CAVE MAN COULD DO IT
There's a small learning curve but if you've got more than 1-photo to re-size the time involved to do that vs uploading to photobucket....It's just senseless to keep doing it the old fashioned way.   Hell my mothers 73 & she uses photobucket.   :banghead: :banghead:

Sad to say...Wade even had to teach me.    :sadwavey:

The nice thing is, it's all free, and your pictures will never be deleted from this site.

Is there a way that the existing pics can be reloaded as PB hosted images instead of deleted (without uploading each one to PB and then re-inserting here)?
