thanks hemi nut.....well i do not know that much about the guts of my tranny..i had a proff shop build it....would i have that same part in my tranny u speak of then ?..5.0?
thanks for ur input.....im not sure if its my tranny or my rear, or my pinion angle ..thats what im trying to figure out.....thanks

Check with the shop who rebuilt it, they should be able to tell you. A stock shift lever is 3.8 I believe and the next step up is a 4.2 and then the 5.0. If the shop that rebuilt it doesn't change the lever as part of a performance rebuild then it's probably still the stock 3.8 lever.
