Anyone here interested in a Corvette
« on: October 13, 2009 - 04:54:18 AM »
The wife says sell it, I say see if we can get any interesting mopar trades for it. It, is a 1977 corvette, last year ( I think ) of the flat back stingray type rear window. White with T-tops, 350/auto. One repaint and looks pretty good. 88,xxx miles. Has decient cam and I belive a shift kit in tranny, could be wrong but it shifts hard and fast like every other one I've ever had. Needs interior work and weather stripping and maybe some brake work. When I got the car it had been sitting covered in a garage for about 10 years. Way back mice got in it and pissed and stunk it up. They didnt chew anything just smelled it up so the previous owners started tearing out the carpet. Door panels are rough also. Runs REAL srtong and sounds great. No show car but a great project. Wife loves my challenger and wants something for her own. Thats what the vett was for but turns out a vett wasnt her type of car which Im fine with getting rid of a chevy any day. Just wanted to see what kind of feed back I get. Not sure if I should put a chevy in the cars for sale posts or not. And yes "this thread is worthless without pics" but I cant figure out how to post them for the life of me. If someone seems interested I think my buddy can help me figure it out.
