I have a 73 Cuda,B5 that is in for paint now.Was this blackout done on all years and colors?
I used to have a B5 blue car with original paint and it definitely had the blackout.  I would bet that a 73 did too.

Was the blackout done on FC7 cars? My '73 Cuda was repainted before I got it, and the blackout behind the grille was not done.
I don't like how you can see purple paint through the grille. You can see what I mean in my avatar.

Yes, it would have been done on that color.  Just the very darkest of colors didn't get the blackout.......well, let me put it this way, they weren't supposed to get the blackout.  There have been some black cars that DO have the blackout.

On another note...only 1970 used the cowl blackout.  The other years didn't.
