Inner Fenders
« on: October 22, 2009 - 10:23:39 AM »
I haven't had a chance to get too serious about buying them, but I may need one, or both inner fenders for my 70 Challenger.  Does someone reproduce the 70 only style?  It looks like Year One and others carry the latter style that has the notch in the shock tower on the passenger side, and the bulge by the battery on the driver side.  I already have a set of 72 inner fenders, and the one is pretty rusty by the hinge area.  I would prefer not to rework something that isn't correct, IF the 70 style inner fenders are out there.

Yes, they make them now, of course, I had to modify the newer style ones on mine.

It think they are made my AMD or Goodmark.  Easy to spot since on the 70's ones, there is no bump with a nut by the battery, and behind the shock tower on the passenger side is smooth.

I must be getting really old. The last time I bought a pair, they were $100/each.
My name is Steve and I'm addicted to Challengers...

When I bought mine, must have been about 4 or 5 years ago, I got them from Shermans, through my brother in-laws shop, and I still think I paid like $140 each.
