How does the chromemoldings around the windshield frame on my convertible goes off except for the visible screws? Not the windshield moldings.

If I remember correctly it should lift or twist off carefully. Start by removing the interior trim around the windshield that will give you a little more wiggle room. There is some sealer or glue under it probably from the windshield or its factory sealant to stop water.

Sides firsst then the top 2 sections.

Per, dodgeboys is right, there is some sticky stuff under it. Be very careful , I ended up putting a crease in mine in that narrower and weaker area by the notch for the top's pin. Good Luck, hope you don't do what I did.

Was a lot of sticky s**t there. I lost one A-pillar molding because I didn't see it was a screw attached to it at the bottom. :banghead:

If the molding in the picture is what you lost, don't worry too much, they can be found easier than the stainless steel stuff. And FYI, I found some moldings and discovered that the screw hole is drilled in different spots and they had the same part number. Some have it lower and some have it higher up. Also, I believe you can use one from a hard top and just have to cut the top part of it off.
