Nope, spline is different.  Shouldn't be a problem to find a column, though.

I think the length between power, and non-power steering column shafts is different too.

The power steering column shaft is a couple inches shorter than the one on a manual column.

I made this conversion on my 70 cuda years ago.  You will need a shorter column as the power box is much larger.  You should be able to find a PS column.  In my case, I found a box off of a 71 cuda, the pump came off of a 73 charger (same as 70 cuda pump).  Becareful with the pittman arm.  There are two different sizes and I am doing this from memory - The 70/71 pittman arm will not fit the 72 & newer box.  Make sure you get the brackets with your pump.  The complete project took me about 3 hours for the conversion.  The only speciality tool is the ball oint cracker wich you can get anywhere.

Good luck

Check ebag, there are several people rebuilding them, you can get a mint rebuilt/restored power steering column for around $250 to $350 depending on the vendor.  :2cents:

You are right about the pitman arm. I swapped out a manual steering box on my Cuda with a PS unit from a slightly newer Mopar. I had to purchase a different pitman arm and a new, shorter steering column.

You know you can slide the shaft on your column and it will fit the power steering, then heat the plastic back up . It is a slide inner shaft
