Urgent help needed plz-fender signal location-see pics
« on: November 08, 2009 - 02:04:32 PM »
I'm drilling holes in my pristine fenders and think I made a mistake. Can anyone please look at the pictures at tell me what the correct positioning of the fender mounted signal should be. Does it follow the fender line as in the first picture, or is it more like the second picture. I used the blue housings(not my white ones) so the contrast would show up better. Thanks...John

They go straight as in the second picture, and by the way, would you want to sell the blue ones? I could sure use a set to fill the holes in my fenders. I have a later set with the screws on top that I am reluctant to install.
If you want, I can snap a pic of the holes in my fender to help you with locating and post it on photobucket

Thanks for the reply and no need to snap a picture. When the first 3 pilot holes were drilled I did them straight so the housings will mount like the second picture. As for those blue ones, they're just a spare set of housing, you'd still need everything else. The lenses are different than your top screw ones.
