tach calibration
« on: October 19, 2009 - 10:58:04 PM »
My tach seems to off. :dunno: At 3000rpm on the tach it actually reads 800-850 on my mutimeter. My multimeter is the correct rmp. Is there a way to adjust the tachin the dash?? :clueless:

www.RTEeng.com
makes a replacement board to make the tach more accurate but you need to remove the guage , disassemble it & solder in the new board , it is an easy repair & you only have to solder 4 wires , you also need the calibrater that they sell

Hello, we can convert your tach to have all new modern internals but still keep the original appearance and connections for $180. The tach will be totally accurate and will operate smoothly. It will also work with any aftermarket ignition system like Mopar Performance or MSD. This job can be turned around in about 2 days and it will have a 2 year warranty. Check us out at www.redlinegaugeworks.com or give us a call at (661) 259-8891

Thanks,

Shannon

I think I'll order the board from RTE. I noticed today that when I reve the engine the RPM actually goes down????? Hopefully the board is the cure!
