I dont know what they are called, but the in/out movement seems to be at the bottom gizmos that connect the window to the vertical tracks......

I was looking a bit more...looks like you just unbolt two bolts at the horizontal track and the window would just lift up and out of the vertical tracks?
Not that easy
Here is what I did, starting with the window halfway up, I pulled the front track top bolt and loosened the bottom bolts all the way
then removed the two screws securing the window to the lift mechanism, at that point the window was flopping and here is where the helper comes in. It is tricky to get the window out as it acts like the window is too wide to fit. The hardest part is getting the rear up stop past the door.
Go for it, It's really not that tough to do, I am trying to give you step by step directions, but I can only do so much from the keyboard

For the small cost - I would suggest buying the window guide kits from R/T specialties. They are a pain in the ass to setup properly so with new equipment pull the window, install the equipment, align everything then let your grand kids worry about fixing it again.

After himhawwing around on it, and having a bout with teh stomach flue over new years, I came to a realization that I could die tomorrow and figured "hey its just money"  :money:  (Please don't tell the missus I said that!)

LOL

Found them on Roseville for only $73 for the kit so I am ordering those.  Might as well have the parts, cause I have the feeling that when I pull the window that 40 year old plastic will be shot.....  :grinyes:
