Got an offer today
« on: November 11, 2009 - 03:43:02 AM »
I got an offer today.  Not for a Mopar but for my house in Clarksville, TN.  It has been on the market for 7 months and I had recently begun to make two mortgage payments.  This was really cutting into the Challenger restoration fund.  So, as long as we close, I can get that monkey off my back and get back to spending money on my car   :woohoo:

How is the markey in that area?  Are you taking a lose?  In central FL housing prices are down 30-40% from 2007 and still dropping.

The market in Clarksville has been slow in selling but prices have not declined like some other markets.  I had my house for a little over 4 years.  Paid $189K and was able to sell for $207K.  This allowed me to pay my realtor and make just a little.  It was nothing like some people who made 50% or more in profit several years back but as a military guy, I am happy just breaking even.
