I just downloaded a program on my laptop for that.  XP has a program called Image Resizer, but it does not work with Vista.  I'm not positive but I believe this is the one I used (there are several out there)

I know I downloaded some free version from the Internet...Sorry I don't remember where, but it could be that link 73Chally posted.   It's pretty easy to use. You can choose what size you want to make your pics.

Is that a separate program that you have to open the picture into first?  Just asking because the download I showed allows you to right click on the picture file in Explorer and do it right there, just like image resizer in XP.  If either way works then great, just curious.

MS Office Photo Editor is one of the best "lite" programs for this type of stuff, but won't run on Vista.

Another reason I'm getting Windows 7 next weekend.

1.Open pictures
2. Drag mouse over the picture you want
3. Right click mouse on the picture
4.in the drop down box "open with" is a selection
5. select "Microsoft Office Picture Manager"
6. on top select "Edit Pictures"
7. On the left 2nd from the bottom select resize.

See Vista made it so easy   :pullinghair:

Old and easy way - works with Vista

Open the picture with MSPaint (been included with every windows OS forever)
From the top menus choose image - stretch/skew
enter the same % amount in the horizontal and verticle
Hit okay

Bam! your image is resized
I usually put in 33% for large pictures
