8 mounting points and 2 core support mounts ,the core support and c channel over the rear end wont let the body move forward ,not to mention steering shaft and shift linkage and lets not forget the bumpers wont let the body move . my point is this is a fish story .thanks for the laugh.GB

No tuna , trout, or shark here my friend..... true story. Real life is crazy enuff! If you know how old chevs are set up it DONT TAKE MUCH! When I was a kid my dad got rear ended on the Dan Ryan in Chicago. (57 Chev) My uncle had to come and pull us off the freeway with a chain! Problem - broke distrib cap.... not a hard hit either.... now take a car with rotted mounts....  maybe only guys in the "salt belt" can understand this.........

If that is a true story, than that is absolutely insane. I can't believe people do this kind of thing. A guy I used to work with had a friend who bought a dodge pickup out in Arizona. He drove it back to Fort Worth with the brakes feeling awkward. When he got it home he tore the brake system apart. Turns out the front calipers were gone on one side, and he had capped off the brake line going to the side. Some people just shouldn't be allowed to mess around with cars.

Do you know how hard that vehicle would pull to one side without a front caliper? Holy cow!
