Thanks! It took me a while understand the correct way to disassemble the column. I now have a better idea of the inner workings and tools needed to take one apart. I used semi flat krylon in a spray can, but I will use "sem" trim black for the next one. I bought nos mopar column, door and trunk locks from ebay. I also bought a repro dodge boys key chain to add a nice touch. The turn signal switch is also nos.

 :popcorn: I am also fixing to do mine.  I can take of the crush can with no problems, but its the secondary section with the ignition that I can't get removed. I know there is a lock washer, but what can I use to pop that section off?

I am guessing you have a '70 column? I used a small flat head screwdriver on mine.
