Voltage to the coil ?
« on: November 28, 2009 - 04:21:17 PM »
What is the max voltage supposed to be to the stock breaker points distributor? 10V is too high I think and that's what it test running .

The car starts and runs great, no more than it gets driven I don't mind replacing the points now and then but I don't want to get stranded if it's going to fry something.

8v is avarage , 10 should be no issue as long as the capacitor is good
