Hi again CP .... I was attempting to re-install my steering column to the box last night.  I re-installed the coupler to the shaft, but had difficulty getting the coupler to attach to the steering box spline.   Should it need a few shots with a hammer or simply slide on and be secured by the rolled pin once in place?   Perhaps there is an alignment issue with the coupler and spline?    Thanks .... Cowboy's right. One other thing, sometimes when you have it apart you accidentally hit the splines with something (like a wrench or whatever) and peen the end a little bit. Might have to touch up the splines with a file. :2cents:

on the lower edge of the coupler there is a small notch , it lines up with the master spline , one spline is missing in both the coupler & the sterring shaft in the box , make sure you have the couple assembled correctly on hre the column or your steering wheel will be upside down
