A friend of mine is restoring a 70 Cuda and he got the frame connectors from US car tool and they fit like a glove with out any trimming to do at all..I did call to inquire about the Challenger ones and talked to Sysco and he informed me that the challenger ones may need minor trimming according to which year you have, they are more acomodating to 71-74 Challengers rather than the 70 because they stretched the cars like 1/2" after the 70 model year because they used B body floors/inner fenders on E body cars..He said they did extensive measuring on all model year cars..
Thats what he said so please dont kill the messenger

I'm in disagreement on the fit of the US Cartool sub frame connectors regarding their "just fit like a glove."

When I had mine to do, I ended up welding bolts on the front and back for mock up on weld clearances. That way I didn't deviate any movement and shift difference when I took them off to re check after re shaping edges that meet floor pans to fit.

What I saw was that the front 50% was an OK fit but the back half was horrible as far as being tight up to the floor pans. In fact there were areas I had to add small sections welded on to get the clearances right.

Mine are the same! I don't think I will use them. I'm making my own.
