DIY camber gauge
http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/534269-diy-alignment-how-make-camber-caster-gauge.html

You can calculate your caster by measuring the distance between two vertical parallel points on the steering knuckle ,(I used the upper & lower ball joint grease fittings) Then measure these points against a perpendicular straight edge. The difference of that measurement  & a little geometry & you get the angle. http://www.csgnetwork.com/righttricalc.html
I started with the rear upper control arm bushings maximum in & the front maximum out, both sides measured the same with 2.08 degrees positive caster.

Just use your eyes and get it close and then take it to a pro to align it.  A level might be handy too.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

:iagree: How far to the shop that will align it?  If it's more than say 10 miles, I would probably look to have it towed.  If you're even a little bit off on your guesstimations, you could drive it straight into a ditch if your roads are kind of rough.
