I was having problems with window fitment on my Cuda and posted an inquiry here about a little over a week ago. Member "dodj" was super helpful. He posted copies of service manual -- these included pages for the door and quarter windows. Here's a link to the post: http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=63290.msg650067#msg650067

BY THE WAY: THANKS AGAIN, DODJ, FOR TAKING THE TIME TO HELP ME OUT. THE SERVICE MANUAL GAVE ME EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED.

Thank you for the link.

I found the same pages in my manual, but they don't give me answeres.

We have replaced the quarter panels and the complete wheelhouses.

How does the rear track mount on top and on the lower position?

They attach with the adjuster bolts mentioned in the manual. One at the bottom and one at the top. Here is a pic of the bolt that attaches the window assembly. The shoulder adjusts the track and the nut secures it.

Thank you for the picture, but it's the rear track that makes me :pullinghair::stomp::clueless: :dunno:

That bolt is for the rear 1/4 window track. One at the top and one at the bottom. There is a bracket attached to the floor for the bottom one and the top one attaches to a hole on the inner structure of the body above the crank mechanism. Those two bolts and the three bolts that attach the window crank mechanism, that's all there is.

Hi everybody

Here is the manual picture from the track what I meen.

The same problem is with the top,
what for things are mounted on the
different holes behind the quarter panel ?

There is or are some small Z-shape brackets
with a longitude from about 2" and about 1/2" large.
You can't see those on the picture,
but they mount on the top somewhere on the quarter panel.
I don't know the function from this brackets.

On the horizontal ellipse, 7 is the 'up stop' bracket. The rest is just a reinforcement plate to stiffen the edge.(I think) The 'rear track', and 'pivot bracket' on my car are welded in position. Was it removed and you are after measurements to weld it back in?

No, for sure the channel is not welded, he has a metal clip at the lover side.
This clip is to stick in somewhere

The clip on the rear guide slip over a lip sticking out. Then you are  able to move the guide in and out. There is a bolt hole in the body to attach the  top of the guide.

I'm done
But the rear channel doesn't have a leach on the wheelhouse.
I hope that it will hold :clueless:
