10,000 day calendar dates are 4 numbers. But multiple dating styles were used.

10209 in your case would be 10th month, 20th day, 1969 (October 20, 1969)

the 1st digit threw it off
Glad to see the heads on the 340 i just bought came with the engine. Weird thing tho, of all the engines i have had, i've never seen both heads have the exact same casting date, interesting

It could be 1989 I suppose depending on the head? I have not looked at anything that new.

Some date codes like Holley carburetors do repeat every decade.

well they are 3418915 head so i doubt it,lol
Besides, mopar never made 2.02 360 heads, even though the "TA" heads say 360 on them and most 2.02 340 heads after 69 say 360 on them as well
