What size sending unit should I use?
« on: December 23, 2009 - 11:17:30 AM »
I'm wanting to replace my sending unit some time this winter as I have  originally a 6 cyl car now with a 440. What size do I need? I see 3/8 and 1/2" ? What about quality issues? I have read posts about problems with fuel level not reading right?
Looking at this one? :dunno:

:iagree: 3/8" is plenty for a 440.  Just keep in mind you will need the 3/8" line from the tank to the pump, also.

If you get the 3/8 line all the way to the front, get the 1/4 return line and body clamps to go with it. That way you can run the fuel/vapor separator after the fuel pump.
