its a brand new torque thrust and I dropped it off today for repair. it should be done by thursday.
Its aluminum, as I expect most custom wheels are, but are they typically some aluminum alloy? I know the old mag wheels were made with magnesium, but that isnt a popular material anymore. Is it because they burn so hot? or just that there are better alloys out there now?
These torgue thrusts, maybe because of their design, and the openness of the wheel, might be weak and prone to rim bending.
Hope I'm wrong, but its been a long time since Ive bent a rim, and it just seems most of the oem type alloy wheels look stronger.
