Is a 4 speed center console different than an automatic console in a challenger?

Yup, an automatic console can be cut to look like a 4 speed console, but you will have to get a new top plate as the shifter holes are different sizes and in different locations.

I had this conversion done last year using my original auto console.  Just get a good template to cut up the side of the console, and the new top plate, and no one will know the difference.

Wow! Thanks guys. I thought I was going to have to spend more money. When you say top plate do you mean the wood grain top plate?
