hi guys
im new to the forum, and my dad has just bought a 67 barracuda, the guy who he has bought it of, has put a 318 v8 in it, and he has offered my dad the original engine, for �250, the guy was going to rebuild original engine and put it back in, so it had all matching numbers, is it worth buying the engine to keep with the car when i come to sell it in the future, so it has all matchin numbers, many thanks

I would say it is worth getting the other engine , the problem arises though that the #s engine for that car doesn`t exist as the factory did not start stamping the blocks until 68 so all you would have is the dated coded block they may ort may not be the original engine
