« on: January 08, 2010 - 07:06:45 PM »
How many clips are there on a non-a/c 73 cuda heater box.  I need to make sure i have enough of both small and large clips so a count would be nice. Thanks again to all for help

Lime-
I just rebuilt my 71 non-ac heater box - Lots of assist from CC.Com  :)
It's still laying on the floor in the computer room.
I count nine (9) large clips that hold on the heater core lid
And I have four (4) small clips holding on the cardboard deflection cover (or whatever the proper name is)

Well, yes, but, that's the way mine is.  Working with 30+ year old fiber glass, along with previouse owners "fixes," no garauntees that it is proper.

My attitude is, looking at all the other pictures, and manuals, I'm doing my best, and it needed a clip.  That, and, it's under the dash - no one can see it.  That and, it's not a rare Hemi or TA.

I'm sure someone here with more experience will chirp in.

Mine had a half dozen clips around the metal motor plate area.

Yes, nine large clips for the main body. I have seen between ten and eleven small clips used. The variance is usually along the top edge of the cardstock. Mine had three.
