Okay, here is the post script on this topic for future reference.  I swapped out the 20 inch rims and low profile tires for a more standard 15 inch rim with redline radials.  It made quite a difference in ride quality, together with the new front end and KYB shocks.  The 20 inch rims were way too big for the car, even with the low profile tires.  I had rubbing issues on sharp turns and scraping when going over big dips/bumps in the road.  I sure wish the car had come with a smaller wheel and I definitely agree with other posts indicating that 17 inch is probably as big as you'd want to go.

The car rides more like what I'd expect.  Below are pictures of the new wheels.

Phil,

I just bought 4 KYB Gas-A-Just shocks. I haven't put them on yet, but you are scaring me now.   :scared:

Same here...LOL...e4specially since I went with the truck shock in the rear for extra length for my add-a-leaf lifted backend.

Oh well, guess i will wait and see now.  :sadwavey:

For what it's worth, I'm happy with the new KYBs I have on my car.  The tires were the culprit for the poor ride quality, after my front and rear end rebuild.
