Question about A body to e body interchangeability

So I stand to acquire a 72 dodge dart for a reasonable amount, it has a well built 318 and a new 727, with over 7k invested on the engine alone and only 100-ish miles on the build, new exhaust and headers. He has receipts.

The body is solid so Im thinknig of swapping over what I can use for the challenger, it will save me a ton of money and Im not big into 4 doors

The other interesting part is it has all new suspension up front, and all new brakes all around,etc. Also has a 411 posi rear end

Can I make these susp and brake parts fit ?.......... I searched and couldnt find anything. Thanks

Who invests $7k into a 318?  Seems fishy or insanely stupid...

well it has a lot of stupid little expensive things done to it, that includes a brand new transmission as well and new mounts, all stainless brackets etc, fancy throttle cable and etc etc.....he has receipts for it all but I have yet to go check the car out in person

Im not overly worried as long as it runs because.....I only have about $600 invested in this maverick that Im trading

The upper control arms will also not interchange.

If it's got bucket seats, they will work, but the tracks are different.

The Dart is a 4-door?

lol, I cant wait to get rid of that thing, I dislike it more and more as time goes on....
It has bench seats unfortunately

yeah its a four door. Now the guy wants $500 plus the mav, may still do that because the body and interior are good, I could probably get my $500 back from it

For what it's worth, I don't think the front brakes(disc) on a '72 A-Body work on an E-Body. I have 73 on up A-Body front discs brakes on my 70 Challenger.

Typically none of the suspension parts will interchange. The lower control arms will bolt in, but their extra length means you will have lots negative camber, maybe more than you can adjust for so they won't really work

The rear leaf springs can work if you use super stock front hangers for an E body.

Unless it is a late 72, the front brakes are likely small bearing/small ball joint versions. No go there. Rear backing plates, shoes, brake parts can be used, but the small pattern drums cannot

Hm, ok. Looks like Im just sticking to the drivetrain and selling the rest as a complete roller ready for paint and drivetrain then
