Just an update....
Well, I got the steering box out today....I, too, had to pull the header (Dougs).
SOOOOO close....it looks like it will come right out.....but just not enough clearance.....
To avoid also having to pull the starter too, I basically had to angle the header down at a 90 degree angle almost and THEN pull the box up through the top (I have the battery and tray out), THEN pull the header the rest of the way out thru the bottom.
I also already had the LCA out so that helped.
Came out ok...we''ll see if I remember how I did it for the reinstall weeks from now...LOL
Really didnt want to pull the header...but thats ok....I had a leaky gasket at the collector flange anyways....so killing tow birds with one shell.
