I haven't bought from Paddocks in years. Burned to many times by inferior products.

I never had any problems with them, but it has been a few years since I ordered from them as well.

I look at them like Year One. If you can buy it someplace else, then do so.   :grinyes:  They over-charge.

I have bought a few things from Paddock, no problems other than whats left in my wallet. They seem to have things marked up quite a bit higher than anyone else. I started getting my stuff through Roseville.

I used to get everything from Year One just because I assumed a large company would have better prices than a smaller one...I was wrong.  I bought a lot of  parts in the last year.  YO was high on everything.  Not to mension the huge shipping costs.  I've only bought a couple things from The Paddock and it's been awhile but they were about the same as YO.  I found that YO would have some thing I priced a little cheaper than Paddock while others it was flipped.

I know emblems have been impossible to find lately...I heard another company bought the rights to most emblems and will be making more pretty soon though.  My guess is that with the problems Chrysler has had in 09 that the licensing process has been slower so parts stock may be low right now.  :dunno:

I only plan to buy from YO once more...that will be for all new wiring harnesses.  The best manufacturer of correct new harnesses has an exclusive contract with YO.

Bill Evans?  Is he here and do you have a link?  I'm going to be buying wiring soon when I tackle restoring my dash.  Thanks, Jim

I bought a lot of parts from The Paddock during my Chargerresto :banghead: You can buy most of their parts
directly from the producing vendor at much less cost. I also experienced rather much backorders but I guess
that's normal with a huge cataloginventory. Buying from these big companys could be an advantage when buying a lot of parts, both for discount and combined shipping, especially for one living abroad like me.

i just did a comparison on about 15 items that i will be ordering soon. (carpet, headliner, body plugs, door sill, sound deadening, paint gasket set, door window trunk hood weatherstrip, dash cap, bumper bolts, vinyl top, window trim screws and clips, and whole lot more little stuff. Year one and Paddock fought to be the most expensive on every single item. Some of the other suppliers like Dantes and Roseville were quite a bit less money for every item. I don't know if the quality is the same or not, but when things start adding up over a thousand dollars, it is time to find something for just a wee bit less money.
