The problem is...No E-Body convertible will come cheap, even the rusty, crusty ones.   :pullinghair:

Yes, I saw the blue one for $14k, that other reference wants $14k too.  I just can't believe that much for a rusty project!  I saw them just last year on ebay; complete, unmolested, rusty time capsule for $10-12K.  I thought a hopeless case would be less.  Pretty much just buying a pattern and title.

I've got the green light from my wife, so my eyes are open.  Was trying to do something for less than $10k.  I've got a line on half (well 2/3) of one.  I'll post how I make out.

I hate to say it but I paid $16k for my 71 Vert, in the resto section. Very rusty but it was complete and had almost every option including those ugly 14" wire hubcaps. Good luck on your search. They pop up every now and then when someone needs the money.

I saw one with A pillar damage for 5k, yes 5k  :faint:

I had no idea they were worth so much, it looked trashed in the front end, and most of the parts were gone incl the drivetrain I think

I'll keep an eye out, I keep pretty good tabs on the mopars for sale around me
