I'm a Trading Card
« on: January 06, 2010 - 10:42:41 PM »
One of the members of Blue Line Racing...the street legal program here run by 5 members of our city's finest sent me a little surprise in the mail today

GreenLight collectibles has a Hot Pursuit series...real police cars in 1:64th Scale. The second series features our 2008 Dodge Challenger police car

I took this picture at the annual Mopar show hosted by the new West end Dodge dealership this past Summer

Much to my surprise that picture is the trading card that comes with the car  :jumping:

Very cool indeed.

Did they pay you for your photo or ask permission to use it?

Thanks for comments

Well Friday the police officers got the authorization to sell these Challengers...they are not available in Canada as Greenlight stopped the contract with Walmart a few years ago

The price is $8.00 which is wonderful considering a Canadian order directly from Greenlight comes with a $14.95 shipping and handling cost

If any Canadian member is wanting one let me know ASAP and I'll have the police hold them for me...I can pick them up at the motorshow at the end of the month and send them out to you...autographed if you wish  :bigshades: (I joke)

$8.00 for the car and I think I can get them into a speedy envelope for $3.99 I'll double check on that

All money from the sale of the cars that are sold here thru the police goes to the Blue Line Racing Street Legal program (not funded by tax dollars...but by sponsorship and donations)

Thanks alot !!

oh but of course!! I just thought people would order from Greenlight being they are American

Am sure Blue Line would be thrilled with support from anywhere !!

I'd have to check out postage but sure will be happy to do mailings anywhere

**I should mention again it's a limited production and I do not know how many Blue Line received...

Hot Pursuit - Series 2
Production Quantity: 5,000 units/car
Serial Number on chassis
Opening Hoods
Detailed Engines

Well with the launch of the toy car this weekend at the motorshow...it has been getting a little "press"  :cooldancing:

I talked to a contact at Global News here in Edmonton awhile back about the car and he asked if I thought they'd be interested in a small spot on the news... :faint: interested??!! I bet they'd love it...so they tied it in with the opening of the motorshow this weekend...it ran on last night's news

It'll stay on line for a short bit

And then MEK-Dangerfield came across this 1/2 page ad in a magazine he subscribes to

THANK YOU Mike !!
