I've seen the shaker repro hoods at Carlisle when it first came out and yes they are very nice. But I've also heard that doing the Shaker conversion is still the best way since the original guage metal is so much better. The original hoods supposed to weigh more. They are alot of work to convert over is the downside.

I didn't get my hood from them as I built the car before the hoods were available. I got my shaker assembly from them. I used Harms conversion kit

Scott at Harms sold it and Pedro who was the originator and maker of the shaker kit  from Argentina parted ways a few years ago. Then Resto Rick took over selling the Harms kit. So if you wanted the Harms kit, you would've needed to contact Resto Rick and not Scott at Harms now.
