weird console

this is really of no significance at all but 70 consoles had the seat belt holder and a 4 hole top plate and 71-74 had the ash tray and 5 hole top plate right? But my console that i pulled out of that wrecked 71 RT had an ash tray and only had a 4 hole top plate. Has anyone ever seen one like that before? I took the plate off too and there are only 4 holes in the console

,, my 72 has the 4 hole and has an 8k tack which was unusual,,and I know it all to be factory parts

I got one also,I did ask about it a while back on another site.Most thought that it had been grafted by someone,ya right .
This is all I know about this,or should say was told-
The 70 style 4 screw top plate would actually vibrate and make noise when you had the windows down and the 5 screw set up was to cure that issue.Wether that is the truth or not?Heres a couple of pics to see for yourself.

i filled the holes and used double face tape to stick mine down and i like how the results turned out. Doesnt rattle either
