Wow many Cars are build on the Hamtramck line on One Day?
« on: May 19, 2014 - 03:08:20 PM »
I have a 70 Challenger with the Build Date on the Fender Tag "306" March 06 Friday.
And the Sequence Number 271358
And my other 70 Challenger have the Build Date "309" March 09 Monday.
And the Sequence Number 272623
There is 3 Day's between the Cars. And this was Saturday and Sunday But there are 1265 Cars Build in this Day's.
How many Cars are build on One Day in Hamtramck?
Must the Worker on Hamtramck Plant work on Saturday and Sunday?

Best regards Andy

So, is that two shifts a day or did they have a third graveyard shift?

Hi Ya'll

Most Dodge plants ran around the clock from the 1920s.
it would be too difficult to wind down power stations and forges then fire up the next day.
The shut down alone would take most of the night. A shut down is a complex process.
