It used to be driven long distances for car shows frequently in the summer, then the kids came along and it got trailered to those same shows while the Swinger got driven behind. Add camping and boating to the mix and now it comes out on one major car weekend of the year. The rest of the year it leads a pampered life.

Hello Neil
Can you arrange some sunshine the last weekend of july? I was planning on taking the charger over to Santa Pod.

Per, I met a friend of yours today. He has the 68 dodge charger registry. He saw your stuff and I told him it was for you. He said he had sent stuff to you before.  A good guy, his name was Troy.  I told him that I was going to probably rebuild this stuff for you and ship it so you can use it when recieved. Parts are cheaper her for me to help you this way. Hope yer not in a big big hurry....ALAN

Hey Per,

I will be at Santa Pod - the sun usually shines that weekend.  Last year we had a terrific storm on the Friday afternoon (that's me in the picture) but amazingly then two nice dry days straight after.

I like your style...........but i cant believe you actually use your cuda every day for work!

I am cheating a bit as I work from home and don't actually have to go out everyday, but when I do I take the 'cuda.  Not long back I had three days running up and down the M5 in some really rotten weather and it got totally filthy :cooldancing:.  The times I mostly don't use it is for short shopping trips.

Yes I can remember buying petrol for less than £1, but if you factor in inflation I reckon it hasn't really gone up that much.

Hi Alan  just wrote you an email, before I saw this. :grinyes: I guess you mean Troy at DC.COM, I order my chargerclothes from him. Don't worry about my parts, the charger is killing me for the moment so I have no time or money for the chally. :smilielol:

Yes please, I would love one of those. Just sad I can't see you and your car at the euronats. :'(

My Challenger is my daily driver. In fact, its the newest car I own!  ;D

I put about 8,000 miles a year on it, I do split some of the driving duties in the summer with my Triumph Speed Triple. So far my longest one way run with it was about 320 miles, although if I ever get my new 340 in the car I suspect I'll put some longer trips on it. I also drive rain or shine, year round. Although, since I'm in CA that's not all that hard to do. I have been briefly caught in the snow a couple times, but not while any chain restrictions were up. I've never trailered it, and don't plan to. If it ever needs a trailer it'll be because its broken.
