Motor is almost done!!!
« on: September 20, 2004 - 07:43:02 AM »
It's taken almost a week or more trying to get parts. Gaskets and such that are backordered etc.
I went with 17059 marine head gasket, it has a slightly bigger bore then the 1009 that was hanging over the bore. I've been cleaning the motor up alot, still need to adjust the valves, and put a new pan gasket on, also install my trick new oil seal kit from Gregz www.magnumhp.com for my external oiling system. Should be going in by this weekend,if not next week. Dont want to rush anything...

I really want to put the motor in my dart! Too much money right now for me though.
8 3/4 rear, headers, motor mounts, transmisson, exhaust, drive shaft, ETC, ETC. Good thing it has Disc brakes and a V8 already though!
