Where are the #'s located on an e-body?  I always look on the cars I see but never find them, I guess I don't know where to check  :clueless:

#'s are on the radiator support on the top drivers side.  They are also on the cowl on the drivers side.  No numbers on the trunk lip like other body styles.

If your car has been repainted, those get mighty tough to see.

I just noticed that the "6" and the "9" in my stampings use the same stamp...they just inverted it.  Was that standard practice?  Who else has a "6" or a "9" in sequential build number that can post a pic?

There is no set, exact location. They can be on top or on the radiator side & anywhere from the middle of the car to over by the battery.

The stamp had 8 wheels with all the numbers, rotate the wheels to the right number set & then stamped.
